I've written a few multi-chapter stories, in hopes of creating a continuing series from them. Here are two: Starwolf and The Basalt City Chronicles.
I've completed one "Starwolf" novelette, and one from The Basalt City Chronicles still in progress.
Set in the Gene Catlow/CatsWhisker Universe (and thus fanfics for Albert Temple and Tawana Gilroy), The Basalt City Chronicles are a planned series of stories about a city out of step with the rest of the world.

Styral Taraynson Kosgan Beers is one of the top pitfighters of his age group in the Empire of Smilodons. When his stepmother gets a job in Furriston, he's horrified; The Basalt City is his home. He's even more dismayed about how he has to live in Furriston. Everything is different: Fight clubs, common in his homeland, are rare, and he is too young for them anyway; the streets at night, safe in The Basalt City, are dangerous in Furriston; and he's never had to worry about traffic before.
It is up to one of his new classmates, Eugene Catlow III, to help him get used to Furriston — without losing what Styral prizes most: his identity. Unfortunately for Eugene, there are figures from Styral's past also waiting in Furriston, a past that Styral is ready to meet...
With both fists swinging.
The worst crew imaginable was assembled, using the biggest misfits in the Stellar Navy. They were given the worst clunker in the fleet. Why? Because an Admiral refused to break tradition, and give up flying for a desk job. It was a sure-fire plan... that backfired. Follow Admiral Hroljarus Andruvar on his journeys with a "crew of losers" that has become everything the beaurocracy has dreamed of, as he continues to be a wild card in the increasingly political Stellar Navy.
